Have you ever tried broccoli + bacon? You know, I love them! Here my recipe for a delicious starter.
MAKES 20 BITES

INGREDIENTS
1 broccoli
water and coarse salt to taste
1 o 2 cucchiai tablespoons bacon, cubed
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
6-8 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 egg
½ glass water
frying oil to taste
STEP 1: BOIL BROCCOLI
Wash and cut broccoli (peel the stem too!) into pieces, then place them in boiling salted water and cook for abot 10 minutes.
STEP 2: BROWN THE BACON
Place the bacon cubes into a pan without oil, and let them brown for a couples of minutes.
STEP 3: MAKE THE BATTER
Place in a bowl: Parmesan cheese, all-purpose flour and the egg and mix well. Add – little by little- the milk and finally broccoli and bacon.
STEP 4: FRY
Fry spoonfulls of batter in hot oil for 4-5 minutes (not too hot !).
