SERVES 4 PEOPLE

INGREDIENTS:
12 slices beef
2 tablespoons gluten-free (or all- purpose) flour
1 teaspoon onion, chopped
3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
½ glass white wine or Prosecco
1 glass tomato sauce
½ glass hot water
Salt and oregano to taste
1 mozzarella (12 slices)
STEP 1: PREPARE THE MEAT
Beat the beef thin as desired with a meat mallet (I like pretty thin). Flour the slices.
STEP 2: COOK THE SLICES
Sauté the onion in the oil, then add the meat and let it brown on both sides.
Simmer with white wine until reduced, add tomato sauce, then (little by little) water, salt and oregano and let it cook for 15 minutes over low/medium heat.
STEP 3: ADD MOZZARELLA
Just before turning off, place on each slice, a piece of mozzarella.
Cover the pan with a lid for a few minutes (the time required to melt the mozzarella) and serve.
