Weekend it’s finally here! And also my friends are coming for a drink!
Here’s a delicious idea to welcome them: yummy canapé trio ready in a second … and with leftover food! Let’s prepare something good!
MAKES AS MUCH AS YOU WANT 😉
READY IN 15’
INGREDIENTS
Sandwich bread
Mayonnaise to taste
1 can tuna
1 tomato, finely sliced
Lettuce to taste
Sandwich bread
Philadelphia (= fresh cheese)
Fresh basil sauce to taste (or basil leaves + teaspoon oil and Parmesan cheese)
Cherry tomatoes, cut in half to taste
Oil, salt, basil to taste
Rosemary crostini
Philadelphia to taste (= fresh cheese)
Ham
Rosemary to decorate
STEP 1: MAKE THE TUNA ROLLS
Spread mayonnaise on bread slices, then stuff them with tuna, tomatoes slices and lettuce. Roll up the slices
and wrap them up in cling film. Place the roll into the fridge. When ready to serve, remove the cling film and place some toothpicks in the roll evenly spaced (2 cm). With a knife cut the slices (make sure that the toothpicks are in the centre of each slice!)
STEP 2: MAKE THE CHERRYTOMATOES AND PESTO CANAPÉ
In a bowl mix together Philapelphia cheese and fresh basil sauce, then place the mixture into a pastry bag.
Cut a bread slice into squares, then place some cheese mixture on it and a cherry tomato seasoned with oil, salt, and sliced basil. If you don’t have a pastry bag you can spread the cheese with a teaspoon.
STEP 3: MAKE THE HAM AND CHEESE CROSTINI
Place the Philapelphia cheese in a pastry bag and stuff crostini. Roll up ham slices and cut thin rolls. Place the ham rolls on crostini and decorate with rosemary.
