Stewed Savoy cabbage

INGREDIENTS

3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon onion, chopped

 

1 savoy cabbage, sliced

Salt to taste

½ glass water

3 tablespoons white wine vinegar

 

 

STEP 1: SAUTè

Place onion and oil in a pan and let them sautè for a couple of minutes.

 

STEP 2: COOK

Add sliced savoy cabbage and salt. Let it cook for 45 minutes on medium heat covered with a lid. If savoy cabbage gets too dry, add 1/2 glass water.

 

STEP 3: ADD VINEGAR

15 minutes before turning the heat off, simmer with 3 tablespoons of vinegar.
