I know, I could do this much better! My picture isn’t stunning! 🙂 But I assure you: the recipe is de-li-cious! It’s one of my Sunday’s family recipe, so tasty, juicy, tender.. You can combine it with easy boiled rice for a great meal! Let me know if you try it.
SERVES 5-6 PEOPLE

INGREDIENTS
7 oz ground meat
1 sausage
1 egg
2 tablespoons Grana cheese
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon marjoram, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
3 peppers
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
3 sage leaves
¼ glass white wine, dry
1 cup hot water
Salt to taste
½ glass cold water + 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
STEP 1: MAKE THE FILLING
Mix the first 8 ingredients in a bowl.
STEP 2: CUT AND FILL PEPPERS
Cut peppers in a half and remove the seeds. Fill each half with the filling previously prepared.
STEP 3: SAUTÈ
Place oil, butter and sage in a pan and let them golden. Add stuffed peppers and let sautè for 7-8 minutes, then simmer with white wine until reduced.
STEP 4: COOK
Add hot water and salt and let cook for ab. 20 minutes. Then add cold water + all-purpose flour mixture and cook for other 10 minutes.
STEP 5: BAKE
Place peppers in preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes (to make them crunchy!).
