I know that’s not usal but I really like pinto beans! especially when spicy!
Pepper, chilli, tomato and sausage are the main ingredients that make my beloved pinto beans even more tasty! Here the recipe to cook them in a very easy way 🙂 .
SERVES 2-3 PEOPLE

INGREDIENTS
1 teaspoon onion, chopped
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 taespoon Rosemary
2 sage leale
1 sausage
¼ glass white wine, dry
½ glass masse tomatoes
½ glass hot water
Chilli to taste
1 pinto beans can (steamed)
pepper to taste
salt to taste
3 tablespoons cold water + 1 teaspoon all-purpose flour
STEP 1: SAUTE’ THE MEAT
Place onion, oil, Rosemary and sage in a pan and let sautè for 1 minute.Add the sausage (sliced) and cook it for 2-3 minutes then simmer with white wine.
STEP 2: ADD THE TOMATOES
Add mashed tomatoes, water and chilli to taste and cook for about 10 minutes.
STEP 3: ADD BEANS
Add beans and pepper to taste. Gently whisk.
STEP 4: MAKE IT THICK
Add salt and water + flour mixture to the pan and let it cook for 8-10 minutes.
