Strawberries are the summer masterpiece! So sweet and extremely fragrant, they’re my favorite fruit together with raspberry.
Here is my solution to make an easy and delicious fresh sorbet, 100 % natural!
MAKES ABOUT 6 CUPS
READY IN 2h 10’ (2h resting time)
INGREDIENTS
12 oz strawberries
6 oz raspberries
3 tablespoons sugar
2 egg whites
STEP 1: BLEND FRUIT
Wash fruit then and slice them.
Place slice fruit and sugar in a mixer and blend until smooth (it takes 2 minutes).
STEP 2: WHISK THE EGG WHITES
In a bowl whisk the egg whites.
STEP 3: COMBINE THE INGREDIENTS
Add the fruit to the egg whites.
STEP 4: FREEZE
Place the mixture in a plastic pan and freeze for a couple of hours.
Before serving blend the sorbet with an immersion blender to make it irrresistibly soft!
A PIECE OF ADVICE: If you prefer you can make sorbet even with only strawberry or raspberry.
