I really don’t know why broccoli is so feared! I find it delicious: so soft (especially if you boil then and then cook with butter), so healthy and low in calories!
If you’re not convinced yet, please try this creamy savory pie, I’m sure you’ll change your mind!
SERVES 4 PEOPLE
READY IN 30’
INGREDIENTS:
1 broccoli
water and coarse salt to taste
10 ham slices
1 cup bechamel sauce (here the recipe)
2 tablespoons Parmigiano cheese
1 puff pastry sheet (I used Stuffer)
milk to taste
sesam to taste
STEP 1: COOK BROCCOLI
Wash and cut broccoli into cubes. Place broccoli in salted boiling water and cook for ab. 10 minutes. Finally drain.
STEP 2: MAKE THE FILLING
Preserve 3-4 ham slice, clice the remaing.
Combine in a bowl: sliced ham, Parmigiano cheese and bèchamel sauce.
STEP 3: FILL THE PIE
Roll the puff pastry out, place it in a baking tin on a parchment paper sheet and make some holes on the botton with a fork.
Spread the filling.
Add broccoli
Finally wrap ham slices and slice them into rolls and add them to the pie.
STEP 5: COOK
Make a kind of cornice for the cake by folding the edge inwards.
Brush it with milk and add sesam.
Cook the pie in preheated oven at 200°C for 15 minutes.
A PIECE OF ADVICE: for a better result wait ab 10 minutes before slicing the pie
