Simple but always welcome, puff pastry-wrapped shrimps are ideal as an appetizer or as an aperitif too.
Special because they have a crunchy pastry that preserves all the tender flavor of the sea.
Cooking them is very quick and easy just like eating them!

INGREDIENTS:
Ab. 20 shrimps
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Pepper and salt to taste
1 teaspoon parsley, minced
1 puff pastry sheet (I used Stuffer)
1 egg yolk
1 tablespoon water
Salt to taste
STEP 1: CLEAN THE SHRIMPS
Gently shell the shrimps keeping tail. Devein the shrimps. Engrave the shrimp to extract the black gut.
Place them in a bowl and season with oil, pepper, salt and parsley.
STEP 2: WRAP THEM
Unroll the puff pastry and cut it into strips about 1.5 cm wide.
Roll each shrimp into a strip of dough, slightly overlapping.
STEP 3: BRUSH
Transfer the shrimps to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and brush them with the mix of yolk, water and salt.
STEP 4: COOK
Cook the shrimp in preheated oven at 200 ° C for 10 minutes.
