Meat sandwich

Like butcher’s ones!

Everyone falls in love with homemade meat sandwich, especially kids!

The same ingredients of  genuine homemade meatballs + a cheesy inside.

It takes only 20 minutes! you should try it!

 

 MAKES 8 SANDWICHES
READY IN 20’

 

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb ground meat (pork + beef)

1 egg

4 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

4 tablespoons breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon parsley, chopped

Salt, pepper ad nutmeg to taste

 

4 slices ham

cheese to taste

 

 

STEP 1: MIX

In a bowl mix the first 8 ingredients and knead well by hand.

 

 

STEP 2: ROLL OUT

Place half mixture betweeen two parchment paper sheets and roll it out using a rolling pin. Do the same with the remaining mixture to get in total two meat “sheets”.

 

 

STEP 3: FILL

Cover one of the two meat sheets with ham slices and cheese.

 

 

STEP 4: CLOSE

Cover ham and cheese layer with the second meat sheet. Press well with palms to match meat.

 

 

STEP 5: SLICE

Cut the meat rectangle in small triangles. First I cut a cross, then a divided the four squares in a half to get 8 triangles in total.

 

 

STEP 6: COOK

Cook the meat sandwiches on a hot grill for 6 minutes on each side coverd with a lid or a foil.
