Is there something wrong with this pizza??
Don’t worry I’m not going crazy, I came up with a rather clever way to serve a summery dessert in no! time!
Here it is: fruit pizza!
Made of a thin and crunchy pastry sheet, “seasoned” with the best of this season, that is many different fruits, a delicious and creamy Greek yogurt …. what is missing? just that pinch of rapè coconut .. and the mind goes back to the seaside, and to that noisy peddler who traditionally breaks the afternoon nap screaming: “Cocco, cocco belloooo!”.
To make it I used a particular base (it’s called “pizza sheet”) but you can easily replace it with a “piadina”.
SERVES 4 PEOPLE
READY IN 15′
INGREDIENTS:
ab 10 strawberries
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 pizza sheet (I used Stuffer) or 1 piadina
1 Greek yogurt
fruit you like most
STEP 1: COOK THE STRAWBERRIES
Wash the strawberries and remove the green part. Cut them into rather small cubes and cook them over medium-low heat in an pan together with sugar and lemon juice.
After about ten minutes this is the result:
STEP 2: FILL THE “PIZZA”
Place the pizza sheet directly on the baking tray (if you use piadina warm it in a pan just that minute to make it crunchy) and then spread a layer of cooked strawberries
Bake at 250° for 5-6 minutes.
Now add spoonfuls of Greek yogurt as if it were mozzarella
and fresh fruit!
#getBready & enjoy your meal
